Our Impact

Dignewsol has empowered thousands of unemployed and underemployed individuals with marketable skills—often enabling them to become employable within 60 days to 6 months of enrollment into our technical program and completion. Our alumni have filled critical workforce gaps and contributed significantly to the economic growth of the United States and other countries.

In today’s world, skills are the new global currency. While degrees remain valuable, certifications in high‑demand fields—especially healthcare—unlock opportunities that are often more powerful, more immediate, and more globally relevant. Even individuals outside the healthcare field can retrain through our programs and earn American national certifications that transform their career prospects.

We Welcome Partners

Dignewsol welcomes strategic partners, students, recruiters, donors, sponsors, and funders who share our vision for skills‑driven and technical education for workforce transformation. Global workforce shortages are reshaping economies, creating unprecedented demand for skilled and certified workers—especially in healthcare and technical fields. Partnering with Dignewsol positions your organization, agency, or institution at the center of this global opportunity.

Canada

  • Needs 1.45 million immigrants by 2025, with 60% required in healthcare and critical skills sectors.

  • Faces a looming demographic crisis: 1 retiree for every 2 workers within the next decade.

  • Candidates trained through Dignewsol gain competitive advantages for immigration pathways and employment opportunities in Canada.

United States

According to Mercer (2021), by 2025 the U.S. will face severe shortages, including:

  • 446,000 Home Health Aides

  • 95,000 Nursing Assistants

  • 98,700 Medical Assistants/Lab Technicians

  • 29,000 Nurse Practitioners

  • Up to 124,000 physicians by 2033

  • A need to hire 200,000 nurses annually to meet demand

These shortages create massive opportunities for globally certified healthcare workers.

The United Kingdom

According to statistics from the House of Commons Library, the UK healthcare sector faces a critical workforce crisis with over 100,000+ vacancies reported in the NHS, projected to potentially reach a 250,000-person gap by 2030. Key shortages include 40,000+ nursing vacancies, with a 6% overall vacancy rate in the NHS. The sector requires 650,000 to 950,000 new adult social care jobs by 2035 to meet demand from an aging population.

Key Workforce Statistics (UK/England)

  • Total NHS Staff: Roughly 1.4 million full-time equivalent (FTE) staff in England.

  • Vacancy Rates: Around 8% in both NHS and adult social care, compared to <3% across the wider UK economy.

  • Nursing Shortage: Nursing is the largest area of shortage, with nearly 44,000 vacancies at peak in 2019/20.

  • GP Shortage: Projections suggest a shortfall of 18,900 FTE GPs by 2030/31.

  • International Reliance: The share of new starters in adult social care from overseas rose from 2% in 2020-21 to 11% in 2022.

  • Demographics: 77% of the NHS workforce and 82% of the adult social care workforce are women.

  • Aging Population: Increasing need for long-term, complex, and social care.

  • Post-Pandemic Backlog: Over 7 million people are on NHS waiting lists, driving the need for more staff.

  • Staff Growth vs. Demand: Despite 34.5% growth in NHS England staff between 2013 and 2023, demand continues to outpace supply according to the Office for National Statistics.

Germany

  • Requires 400,000 skilled immigrants annually

  • Has over 600,000 unfilled jobs as of early 2025

  • Implementing the Skilled Immigration Act and Opportunity Card to attract global talent

Germany’s workforce gaps highlight the urgent need for internationally recognized skills and certifications.
