 Nurse Assistant Program

Nurse Assistant (NA) Program

Educational Career Training Program

______________________________________________________________________

Program Overview

Nurse Assistants (NAs) are essential members of the healthcare team, providing hands‑on care, comfort, and support to patients in hospitals, nursing homes, and long‑term care facilities. NAs work under the supervision of licensed nurses and play a vital role in ensuring patient safety, dignity, and well‑being. This program is designed to prepare students for entry-level positions in nursing care. As an essential member of a healthcare team, the nurse assistant cares for the personal needs and comfort of people with health problems and assists physicians and nursing staff in carrying out health care treatments.

Our Nurse Assistant Program prepares students with the foundational nursing skills, clinical knowledge, and professional competencies needed to excel in entry‑level patient‑care roles. Students learn how to assist with daily living activities, measure vital signs, support mobility, maintain clean and safe environments, and communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff.

For students residing in the state of California (USA), successful completion of the program qualifies them to sit for the California State CNA Certification Exam through the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program. Successful candidates will be credentialed and receive their CNA certification from California Department of Public Health (CDPH).
