Emergency Medical Technician-Basic (EMT-B)
Educational Career Training Program
___________________________________________________
Program Overview
Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT‑B) are frontline healthcare professionals who respond to 911 and emergency calls, provide immediate life‑saving care, and safely transport patients to medical facilities. EMTs stabilize injuries, manage medical emergencies, and deliver Basic Life Support (BLS) in high‑pressure environments.
Our Emergency Medical Technician – Basic Program prepares students with the knowledge, hands‑on skills, and confidence needed to respond to emergencies involving trauma, cardiac arrest, respiratory distress, shock, childbirth, environmental emergencies, and more. Students learn patient assessment, airway management, CPR, bleeding control, splinting, oxygen administration, and safe ambulance operations.
Upon completion, graduates receive a Certificate of Completion and are eligible to sit for the National EMT‑B Competency Certification Exam through Healthcare Professionals Competency Testing (HPCT).
