Educational Career Training Program

Program Overview

EKG Technicians play a critical role in diagnosing and monitoring heart conditions. They work alongside physicians, nurses, and cardiology teams to perform electrocardiograms, monitor heart rhythms, and identify cardiac irregularities. As cardiovascular disease continues to rise, trained EKG Technicians are in high demand across hospitals, clinics, emergency departments, and diagnostic centers.

Our EKG Technician Program provides students with a strong foundation in cardiovascular anatomy, medical terminology, and the technical skills required to perform accurate 12‑lead EKGs. Students learn proper lead-placement, equipment maintenance, rhythm interpretation, and how to recognize cardiac arrhythmias and emergencies.

Upon completion, graduates receive a Certificate of Completion and are eligible to sit for the National EKG Technician Certification Exam through Healthcare Professionals Competency Testing (HPCT).
