Program Overview

Pharmacy Technicians play a vital role in the healthcare system by supporting pharmacists in dispensing medications, managing inventory, processing prescriptions, and assisting patients. As demand for prescription medications continues to rise, Pharmacy Technicians are needed in hospitals, retail pharmacies, long‑term care facilities, mail‑order pharmacies, and pharmaceutical companies.

Our Pharmacy Technician Program prepares students with the technical knowledge, hands‑on skills, and professional competencies required to work confidently in pharmacy settings. Students learn how to process prescriptions, measure and package medications, manage inventory, handle insurance claims, and communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers.

Upon completion, graduates receive a Certificate of Completion and are eligible to sit for the National Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam through Healthcare Professionals Competency Testing (HPCT).
